	i have the 2nd badge and went and talked to the person in the house to the left of the pokemon centre and she says: "i take care of injured pokemon. i nursed this bulbasaur back to health. it needs a good trainer to take care of it now" and that is it. please help

	Are you raising your Pikachu? She will only give you Bulbasaur if you have Pikachu with you and the Pikachu is really happy.

	yeah he is happy. always had him out. same level as all the others. jumps twice, smiles and winks at me when i talk to him

	Sure thing. Buy a potion. Heal Pikachu to full health. Use the potion on him numerous times, 10 should do it. Even though it says "The item won't have any effect.", Pikachu's happiness will still increase.
