i was doin the mew glitch and came across a missingno i captured it but it messed up my gbc

it was automaticalli named master ball and when i checked it was a level 1 rhydon. also my character disapeared and the onli way i knew wer the guy was was by seein pikachu. i imediateli turned off without saving. was this a mistake?? <^>

Yes. Never catch Missingno. Your file is done for, you'll have to create a new one and hope for the best. If there are still lingering glitches then you've *bleep*ed up your cartridge, and the game is now completely useless. In which case you'll have to buy a new one.

Capturing most any glitch species is extremely dangerous. Especially Missingno.
