If you could would you evolve your pikachu?......Although if you could then you would have to give up on letting pikachu learn thunder, because riachu can't....so i would keep them the same.

the ony reason id turn my pcikachu intorichu was if i traded a friend ofr his then evolved that 1 so i still had my original 1

i evolve pikachu at lv.42 all the time cuz thats the level it learns thunder.

if i could i wouldnt because raichu is butt ugly and i dont want a butt ugly pokemon making hearts at me when i accidentally turn around.

I have never evolved Pikachu, I will never evolve him as he is good enough for me at Pikachu and Raichu is ugly and can't learn thunder

pikachu is a pain in the a$$, so week,

Id keep Pikachu

I did evolve my Pikachu. After trading it to Pokemon Gold and duplicating it, that is. Then I traded both Pokemon back and Pikachu still followed me.

here is my tip....if you want to give thunder moves...it would be better to evolve the pokemon first so that they will have a higher stat just tm the moves to them...

He's aware that you can't evolve it on Yellow, which is why he said 'If you could would you evolve your Pikachu?'.

I'd probably end up raising my Pikachu until it learnt its post powerful move, and then I'd evolve it into a Raichu. I actually think Raichu is cute, and evolving the Pikachu isn't going to end up changing its personality or anything.

I prefer Riachus, they can take hits. Pikachus are so weak.

But yes, I would. Better stats, and unlike a lot of people, I don't think Raichu is ugly.
