I tried to download the game and the power went out in the middle of the downlod. I decided to uninstall all that i got installed cuz when i tried to play it some files were missing or something. But now when i double-click on the E: drive icon to reinstal it it brings up an uninstall screen. When it is finnished it says the mantianance has been completed. Then i click finnish and the screen closed. I clicked to install it again and it brought up the same screen.

Changes:
- Exception error after blue Rockstar load screen fixed.

- Error loading saved games fixed.

- Option for user to play audio files directly from hard disk. Copy the contents of the PLAY discs Audio directory into your installed Grand Theft Auto III Audio directory. Grand Theft Auto III still requires the presence of the PLAY disc when started. This may give better performance on some machines (though worse on others).

Oh cool, that might just make my game work better. I runs okay but it kinda goes choppy sometime in Staunton Island. (only happens in Staunton Island)

Does anyone else get that also? When the game is only slow in the second island for some reason...

Well that doesn't make sense .
Do you mean it wasn't choppy before you installed the patch?

For me, it seems that it runs faster on my PC after installing the patch.

does anyone have that patch that was on the sheepyuk website, the one that removes rain or peds - highfps v5 i believe. I'd like to try it, my game runs fine, but I wanna see the difference wid this. my e-mail is come_on_you_spurs@totalise.co.uk

ATI update for the catalyst driver "fog" problem.

Previously when foggy weather would set in the game
would become unable to play due to a overkill amount
of grey being rendered into the game.

Also a minor performance boost is found with a combinaiton of those drivers and this patch.

The SheepyUK site is back up now, so you can download the latest customizable version .
Also, I seem to remember a few people have had an error message saying something about a required DLL ffile not being found, but now you can download that from SheepyUK (in the same section as the High FPS Fix).

I just bought the game and Im not very disappointed but somewhat I am because it takes a while for the real graphics to catch up to where I am at. Does this fix itself the more I play?

Some times it does fix itself after a while, maybe you need to update your graphix card by going onto the company website and downloading the newest patch (From the card company).

my game is runing a little slow i have a p4 128 mb of ram 1600mhz and a geforce2 mx 200 32mb of ram y tinkin to buy something to make fast what is better to make it go fast a expansion of 256mb of ram or a better video card:confused:

Thats a good question, but since you seem to have game slow down, I would probley have the card. But if everything is slow, maybe the 256 is for you. I can get you some good deals on cards if you want me to.
