its pure crap. i installed it and i havent seen a slight improvement upon any of the original problems... fair enuff they added the ability to copy the cd music to hdd but i did that b4 they released this patch. they have spent the best 5 minutes of the day making this rubbish... it hasnt solved any performance problems at all... i wouldnt bother personally... lets hope they give us pc users some dignity and respect and actually spend a bit of time making this game playable on an athlon xp 1500+ 256mb ram and gf2 64meg!!!

i just downloaded the other patch thats been posted on gamesdomain... that sounds a bit more promising performance wise... gets rid of random objects etc... apparently improves performance if ur still having probs after d/ling the 1.1 i'll see when i get in from work and then post bak here... l8rs

Okay I am going to REALLY show my ignorance here. I play GTA 3 all the time, but I am not into the modding and stuff, so seeing as how I have never even heard of this patch, what exactly is it? I dont want to spam and so I wouldnt start a thread about this, but I just read this one I have absolutely NO CLUE what this is or what it is supposed to do. From what I see here, it is supposed to improve the game? But on my systems now it runs fine. Where would I see improvements if any?
