Goalkeepers;
Chelsea have arguably the best two keepers in the premiership. Cech is awesome, the best on the game in my opinion, and Cudicini isn't half bad either. Maybe a young goalkeeper for back-up? I would choose Degre as he is very young and won't cost much money,

Defenders;
Terry and Carvalho make a very good partnership for Chelsea, and also have Boulharouz as back up. Down the left they have Englands two LBs, Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge so the only place left, is right back. Ferraira is a very good player, but not Chelsea standard. They need a very fit RB that can run up and down the pitch all day. A player like Rafinha will be a very good buy as he is a all-round great right back. My recommended back four; Rafinha - Terry - Carvalho - Cole

Midfield;
This is where Chelsea has talent in abundance. Ballack, Lampard, Essien and Makelele are all superb CMs, but 4 into 3 doesnt go so I recommend dropping Makelele. Ballack and Lampard are undoubtedly the best CMs for you, then its a choice between Essien and Makelele. Against teams with a AMC playmaker, i recommend you play Makelele to break up the attacks, but against poorer teams i would play Essien as i feel he gives more of an edge. My recommended midfield three; Ballack - Essien/Makelele - Lampard

Strikers;
In my opinion this is the weakest part of the team. I don't rate Shevchencko that highly, Drogba dives and then there are the wide forwards, Robben, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Kalou and possibly Joe Cole. If you play 2 wide forwards/wingers, and one main striker through the middle, i recommend you buy a winger who can play down the right, and an out an out goalscorer to replace Shevchencko. If you were to play 4-4-2 i recommend you buy a CF to play off the main striker. Dagoberto would fit the build perfect, and for £1.4m, you won't dent Mr. Abramovich's pocket. As for the winger, i would be tempted to bid for Ronaldo as he can play down both flanks and swap with Robben. After these signings a main striker is needed, David Villa has been getting rave reviews, and for £24m, he is a bargain. My recommended forward three; C Ronaldo - Villa - Robben

How to play;
I would play like Chelsea do in real life. Tell the two centre backs to sit, and the holding midfielder, and let eveyone else attack. The two full backs, Cole and Rafinha, can really be the difference for you. If you can get them to overlap Ronaldo and Robben, you will create chances galore. You could give both Ballack and Lampard free roles against weeker teams, but when you come up against better teams i would tell Ballack to sit and just let Lampard roam. The two wingers will be your two best players this year if all goes to plan. As C Ronaldo and Arjen Robben can both play down both flanks, i would capitaliza by telling them to swap positions (on player tactics). This will give opposing full backs nightmares! Some of you may think by playing one upfront he will get left isolated, but this will not be the case as the two wingers and at least one of the three midfielders will be right behind him in support. I would play Villa as the lone striker, but you may choose to play Shevchenko.
