Brother Band Requests Reminder |
|
This thread is to serve as a reminder (or notice if you're new to the forum) to all forum participants regarding brother band requests.
As you may have noticed, many of the requests that were in this forum previously have been deleted or closed and set for deletion in two days, depending on the type of mood I was in at the time that I got around to it. This policy will continue to be enforced until further notice. Why am I doing this, you ask? It's simple, really. There's an official brother band request thread that was made to handle these types of posts since obviously the Brother Band system is a system that requires a lot of interaction between other people. Now that we know that, you're probably asking why I'm asking you to use a single thread for such a widely used aspect of the game. The answer to this is simple: To keep the forum from overflowing with these types of threads. The more Brother Band request threads there are floating around, the easier it is for discussion threads or threads asking for help with a particular part of the game to be "drowned out," which will cause many people to get annoyed and either leave the site to go to one of Neoseeker's rival sites like GameFAQs or IGN or they'll get very touchy based on how people respond to their posts, neither of which are very good consequences for the site or for the forum in general. I realize that many of these types of threads are being made by unregistered guests who may not see this announcement, but I ask that instead of reporting every single thread that pops up that's a Brother Band request, you politely link people to the proper thread and to this announcement so they can see why they're being redirected. This isn't to say that I don't appreciate people reporting posts to help me catch things that I might not catch otherwise when popping in on random forums in this section, but I'd prefer not to have to worry about the majority of the reported posts in the section coming from this forum because of one or two people. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. Don't hesitate to drop me a line via NeoPM if you have a question related to the forum.
