Does anyone have any tips for getting past this mission.
I've just passed the first checkpoint and am heading over to the next island to help out the 169th.

I'm told to concentrate on the tanks, which I do, but to no avail. I can barely just get one bombing run completed before I'm told that I'm too late as the 169th have been wiped out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem, anybody know the best method to beat this stage.

what u do is stay on the island with the 179th until there health goes to full then head over to the other island and do the same. u have to wipe out all enemies b4 u go to the next islands. just try that thts what i did and when i did it i got through easily. but now im stuck on the top secret mission.

The secret seems to be to stick with bombing tank ground targets on the first island, despite what you hear on the radio. Keep bombing the tank ground targets, until you see status bar for troop strengths increase. That unit is good on its own and you can take on the next island.

beats me im having a real big problem with this level the levels before this one was a walk through but this ones impossible be more specific about the walkthrough thanks

Im having the same problem. As soon as i go to help the 169th infantry division the 172nd gets wiped out, but if I wait to long, then the 169th starts to loose its strength. Now i know that before the mission he says "stay to long over one island, and the others would get cut to ribbons," but even following this advice i still fail the mission. Help please!
