Ok i am a complete novice with these games but all my mates have been saying "Oh buy free agents and sell them they cost nothing just look on the transfer list" So i have but there are no "free" players at all and people say there are loads and loads.

If someone could just give me a good run down of what free agents are and how to buy and sell them i would be very grateful.
