Well, I was afraid this was going to happen. I was really pulling for Prince of Persia on the Wii. I was hoping that Ubisoft would go all out and give us an exclusive new chapter in the series. I would have even taken a side story! Well that is not the case. According to the latest issue of Nintendo Power, the Wii version of Prince of Persia is nothing more than a remake of The Two Thrones, but with Wii controls added in.  I am sure there will be other additions/revisions as well, but the major selling point are the Wii controls. You can expect moves like the Dagger Plant, Speed Kill, Daggertail, and Free-Form Fighting to all incorporate Wii controls in unique ways. Don't get me wrong, The Two Thrones is an excellent game I am just not interested in a Wii controlled remake this soon after the first release. Am I being too harsh on this? If you are excited for the title, please let me know. ------------------- *source* God *bleep*ing dammit, Ubi. Not again. Come on, you promised support for the Wii, and you gave that. You have released many games. Yet the quality is horrible. Red Steel and Rayman were pretty well recieved, but what's the deal with all these ports? Far Cry and GT Pro Series are not Zelda. I never expected much success from rushed ports, but come on! Don't go slaughter PoP. This game could make an excellent exclusive for the Wii, why remake The Two Thrones? It costs less money, but I don't see where they will gain it back from. Seriously, get your act together  ...Eh, that's just what I think. Not like my opinion will matter the slightest to them...Ubi should listen to their fans more... | |

Jesus Christ. Ubisoft is a real *bleep*job. They got everyone's hopes up for a friggin' port of Two Thrones.
But there might still be plans to bring a new game to the Wii. The concept art was still leaked from Ubisoft and its clearly not of any present Prince of Persia game. ------------------- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Yeah, the fact it's just simply a port blows. But hey, at least they're porting a good game.
And yes, the graphics do look like the "PS2 Version". Isnt this game supposed to be a duality with the psp game of the same title?
In the wii one, you play good prince, in psp game, you play as evil prince. ------------------- | |

Yeah you play as both about an hour into the game. You switch back and forth often
