From scratch on Win XP, what's the best DDR setup?

On my Win XP system (obviously with USB adapters), I would like to get a really solid soft-pad DDR system. I know the Pump it up doesn't work. Konami seems to do the PS2 or PSX adaptors, but those seem to have two-arrow at once issues. RedOctane seems to speak highly of itself, with ease of use, and pad durability.
Which are good for:
durability
accuracy and ability to use 2 arrows at once
somewhat user friendly
update-able song database.
THANKS!
