Favorite Flying Techniques? |
|
Every pilot has to have a few tricks up their sleeve to pull out in the tight spots. Anyone have any particularly cool or effective techniques they'd like to share?
My current favorite involves quick changes between battloid and fighter for a stick and go effect. Drop the occasional decoy, jet around to the side, and tear into the pods with machine gun fire. Too fun... Anyone else? Slappy the Ring Thief has a good FAQ on this subject at http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/game/14627.html __ Been playing the game for a couple days now. Awesome. I just past the Graveyard mission.

what i call 'spin tracking' i.e. when in fighter mode, spin at every opportunity instead of banking, it makes you harder to hit, and if you get it just right, you can easilly find targets. i also prefer to use the gun over missiles, it's a lot more satisfying
another thing i find handy is the s-something and loop techniques for turning round 180 degrees, perfect for attacking runs on freighters. i tend to use the guardian mode far too much though, i prefer battleoid mode, but the guardian is just too easy! ------------------- "I'm sorry Ms. Nanako, looks like I won't be able to take you to the beach like I promised."
