re: Robotech Info

This game actually sounds like it is going to be ok, and it is going multi-platform as already mentioned that is great news.

Robotech: Battlecry Collectors Edition
Thursday, June 13, 15:34 | Talon |
Collectors packs or compilation sets usually only come out in Japan, despite the fact many hardcore gamers in North America want to see them brought over seas. Someone from TDK Mediactive must have picked up on this as it appears that Robotech: Battlecry will have special edition packages. Displayed in a listing at EBGames, the Robotech: Battlecry Collectors Edition will include the Robotech game, a keepsake box, the soundtrack, a Robotech t-shirt with an image of ‘skull one’, 5 art cards, a Robotech lenticular motion card and a Robotech dogtag.
The Robotech: Battlecry Collectors Edition and Robotech: Battlecry are both scheduled for release on Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance in September.
Also to be more specific. Robotech is slated for a mid September release. The 16th I believe. USA>

re: Robotech Info

That sounds pretty cool all the stuff you get in the pack, my question to you is how much extra do you think it will be to get this pack?

re: Robotech Info

The collector's edition in the USA will retail for $79.99. So I guess $30 more. Battlecry and the special edition will be released on September 24.

re: Robotech Info

I was expecting it to cost more then that, considering the extra goodies you get. IMO that is a great price to pay for the extras.

re: Robotech Info

Indeed, I will be taking this opportunity to obtain some new Robotech collectibles at such a reasonable price. Will these game packages be sold in regular stores or only through the online retailers? I've never before seen something like this in a US video game retail store.

Usually Electronic Boutique and Gamestop carry collectibles. I believe that this will be found at both stores. Not sure if the supply is limited though.

multiplay, robotech?

i've been looking around, and i was wondering if anyone knows all the info on multiplayer in the xbox version? all i've heard so far is a 2 player deathmatch mode. but somewhere i saw on the E3 (or maybe another con) a pic of 'father and son teaming up against the zentradi'. could be the pic was misinterpreting it, and they were in the 2 player deathmatch. just curious though. only 2 players? and will there be a co-op mode? (that's my favorite mode in Halo, and was just hoping for similar, but different.) either way, definetely gonna pick this one up come the 23rd-24th.

re: Robotech Info

Sorry only Vrs mode here. Also the GameBoy Adv is a different game all together. I mean it does have the same type of play but diferent name and missions as I hear. Well I did wish the game supported vrs mode via the NIC or XB Live but think that MS could work along side of them to provide a Live version of the game. That would be killer aye.
