I think the cel shading works amazingly well for this game.

I've been skeptical so far about cel shading but this game sold me.

It sold me a long time ago when dreamcast relased jet Set radio cel shading.

I agree the cel shading in Jet set radio future was great it does take a bit to get used to. This game has not had much publicity but I'm gonna definitally buy it apon release.

Aftter being a Robotech fan for all those years this game is a great thing to see. Hopefully it will jump-start the Robotech marketing again and bring attention to the series.

Robotech is part of the macross seris aint it. Cos i think macross is such a great anime and now theres a game coming out i cant wait. Is it coming out on any other consols ??

You must have heard wrong then, Macross is a part of the Robotech series, not the other way around.

Robotech is actually made out of 3 unrelated series, tied together to form one main plotline in Robotech. (I know many here already know this, it was for the benefit of the RT newcomers.)

Ok fair enough. so do u think that robotech will be online play ?? and is it confuremed that its being released on other systems ?

I don't think it will be online (only my opinion), but I haven't seen any information on this either way.
I do know it will be released on PS2 and GC though (check out the press release I linked to in the other thread).

I have'nt seen anything about them putting online play on it but i really dout it.

It does appear from one of the screenshots that this game will have a two player split-screen mode. I don't know if it's cooperative or deathmatch though. (both would be nice)
