Does anyone else have a problem with the game freezing? For me, its not even during a match, its in the menus. Particularly, right after a match, during the loading screen before it displays your medals, it freezes about half the time for me. The only other place it has frozen was when I clicked on "Custom Match" in the multiplayer menu. I find it strange how my Xbox can run the game while in a match full of players just fine, and yet it can't handle loading stuff in the menu.

This problem has irritated me to the point that I don't even feel like playing it anymore. I have to restart my Xbox after every other match pretty much.

It would be the disk if anything so call Ea and tell them you just bought the game and are having problems with it also say that you get the Disk read error rather then saying it just freezes. They should send you a new one and it will be fine.

For me, it doesn't give an error, it just freezes in that black screen with the spinning wheel in the bottom-right corner. Its kind of stupid because that loading screen is only there for about 2-5 seconds normally, but my Xbox decides to freeze during that time pretty much every other game.

I tried just letting it sit there once to see if it could come out of the hang-up but after 10 minutes it was still in the same position.

Thats my advise. Just lie to them that you get the disk read error as it is the disk so they cant claim that you are at fault for it not reading

Might just be a coincidence, but when I deleted some stuff from my hard drive, it seemed to stop freezing. I haven't really played enough to know for sure though. I did only have 180 MB left, but at the same time, I'm not sure how that would effect the game freezing during loading screens.

I've never had a problem with it freezing or giving me a disk read error in the menu or multiplayer. I got a few disk read errors in the single player, but none since then.

It could be a scratch on your disk. Try what some of the other members said and get a replacement.
