To unlock it, players must go to http://veteran.battlefield.com and register at least one previous game in the battlefield series. For PC games pre-Battlefield 2, you'll need your cd keys. For Battlefield 2 and beyond, all you need is to be registered in the EA system and have played at least one game online. Those without EA.com accounts will need to create one. Simply log into the website, enter your old cd keys or indicate which of your EA personas you've used to play online, and you're good to go. The F2000 should be unlocked the next time you play online. You'll also get a number indicating your veteran status next to your name on the in-game score screen.
