10840 Statistician, Broker, Armmaster and Manager specialists. |
|
First youll have to unlock eyewear bill in Dark assembly. Then you must have good enough customer rank (I dont remember how high it should be). And then youll have to go shopping and wait until you see Foresight glasses wich have already 10840!!! statistician etc. specialists in it. Number 10840 will be blue coloured wich means that the specialist is useable, so you can move it to another item if you want. Its very easy way to get exp, money, mana or weapon mastery levels.

quote Judgment8I call BS on that >_> I REALLY don't think this is true >_> I've never heard of such a thing... Your low post count doesn't inspire confidence either... (for other people's reference, low post count in itself doesn't mean anything, but it can be a sign of a spam account, when paired with unlikely sounding statements like this) >_> -------------------

I second that thought. In the time I've been playing this game, I have yet to see such a thing.

I can confirm this. If you need me to, I could post some screen shots. Another note on this: If you go into the item world of one of these items, it will be completely filled with Laharls and all of these specialists have a better effect then the normal limits allow. I know it sounds strange, but I can post proof if you need me to.

What are the Laharls for exactly?

They just appear in the item worlds of the items that come with the 10840 specialists. I don't know a reason for it to happen, nor do I know why these specialists exist.

Weird...
I can't make out the pictures much, as you said, crappy camera >_> But it is an interesting glitch...So how exactly would one come across one of these items? I know that other person wrote about it, how would you phrase it? -------------------

Unlock eyeware inventory in the assembly and get your product rank high enough to have Foresights appear in the store. Then, just keep checking the store until one appears. There's a good chance for one or more of these specialists to appear on a Foresight, but it doesn't always happen. (There's also a staff that has a similar glitch, but I've forgotten which one it is.)

Freakin' awesome ^_^ Especially since I HATE farming for specialists (I'm the rare type of NIS fan who dislikes the item world) >_>
It is still a while before I have enough progression (actually, I think I'm fairly close, some stuff is costing millions I think) (too bad this isn't on D2, I have over 300 million hell to piss away, all earned Legit too, and on D1 on PS2, I have trillions of Hell, I think, earned because I used a 'max exp' glitch thing, and was able to do really high Hell gaining stuff) I'll have to remember this ^_^ I wonder if my guide book has anything on this? And I'd like to learn about that staff one >_> -------------------

Lol I've been taking advantage of this "glitch" myself. So far I've only farmed the "pre-subdued" ones from the Foresight and the Tainted Staff though. Statistician, Armsmaster, Broker, and Manager from the Foresight, and so far I've only found Alchemist on the Tainted Staff.
Alchemist poisons enemies and having a 10840 alchemist in your item, well, 100% chance of poisoning enemies lol. Oh yeah, ALL of the other specialists on these 2 items come in high numbers too. I've found one with around 1000 sentries or something @_@' Now just need to farm money to buy these lol. Just unlocked Coo in Laharl mode (main story). p.s.: Nice to see familiar faces around here -------------------

On a somewhat related (to your post Mettaur) question, if an enemy dies from poison, instead of attacks, you don't get EXP do you? I'd rather paralyze or put enemies to sleep, rather than poison them, since that way, you won't lose the EXP >_>
So the high level ones you found weren't subdued? That sucks, if you actually had to fight them, they'd be really high leveled >_> (For the ones over 9999, they'd be 9999)...or do they appear as normal level in the item world? And when you subdue them, are they 2x the glitch level? or is the glitch erased? Unsubdued ones are pretty useless, unless you're willing to equip that item (foresight) to characters...only really useful for characters that need HIT >_> So it is the Tainted staff that also nets you bonus specialists? I'll try to remember that.... And nice to see you too Mettaur ^_^ Nice (high) post count BTW >_> -------------------

I didn't even know Met played Disgaea lol.
And who would have known the psp version had such a glitch. Now I feel neglected with all the time it took on the ps2 version lol. I guess I should start taking advantage of it. Sorry for my doubts, but it seemed sooo unbelievable. ------------------- わ む けんか まで ザ えき べ. ![]() り まい ほる Riviera す ほろぶ

re: 10840 Statistician, Broker, Armmaster and Manager specialists. |

Awesome ^_^ I have two staticians, and one Armaster that are 10840 ^_^ I also grabbed a couple more of the foresights because they had nice HIT boosts ^_^
BTW: Foresights require a product rank of 9, but are relatively cheap, at only 330K HL....Oh, can't find any tainted staffs....Probably Product Rank 10+ >_> BTW: I wonder if this is deliberate? It seems odd for a glitch...especially with the laharls? Probably a cool 'hidden' thing >_> I bet people who found this randomly nearly pissed themselves >_> EDIT - Something else about Foresights...Apparently, it is a bad idea to equip these foresights...You get Minus 120 Jump (your jump minus 120) 0_o I found this out when I decided to equip a foresight I had transfered a glitched specialist from already (because coincidentally, it had nice INT boosts)... So what? Would you just not be able to jump anywhere? Or worse, would you not be able to move at all somehow? I wonder >_> I might try at some point >_> I wonder what would happen if you combined these with the hyperdrive? Would it still be 99? Edit2: Actually, it seems that all foresights do this...Well, Foresights DO have rather nice stat boosts on them, but it seems weird that they would make it lower JP so much >_> Have they always done this? Or is it because some foresights are glitched, and it affects all of them? This message was edited by tallteen86 on Feb 04 2008. -------------------
