I understand that you get 50% xp on tag teams, for all 3 additional characters on a tag team... my question would be, that character you initiated the tag team, does that character keep 100% xp for the killing blow WHILE in tag team? Or also has 50% xp due to tag team?

The person making the kill gets 100% XP, iirc. Tallteen?

Typically if TT or I don't answer a question with in a day, we typically don't know. Personally I wouldn't get worked up about tag team EXP. It's better for a lone guy to finish a baddie rather than use team attacks for leveling up your characters.

If I remember correctly, you can find the answer in the instruction manual under team attacks. (I don't have a game copy with me right now)

Actually, I lost my manual somewhere. I moved recently, and I recalled reading but I just needed clarification. I'm not really worried about it, I'm just curious on how to get xp fast way. Grinding is pretty boring, lol

Only have my PSP manual handy, but it doesn't help on the EXP info front....

For me, I just assumed that the EXP was split between those involved in the team attack.

Why not test it out yourself? It would be easy enough TBH. Save the game, attack an enemy by yourself, note the EXP gained, reload (not necessary if the enemy remains the same though), and try it with a team attack. See how much EXP is gained by each participant.
