The easiest way to do this is to get a good racing boost car, preferably one of the middle speed vehicles, but NOT too fast. Then start a Stunt Run near I-88 and get on the expressway before the run ends.
The reason for this is that Stunt Runs seriously reduce the traffic flow. Now get into oncoming traffic, charge up your boost and go! You will want to STAY in oncoming so that your boost continues to charge while you are using it, causing burnout after burnout. In addition, to MAKE SURE you get the 20X, DO NOT use the accelerator at all. This will keep your vehicle moving a lot slower since you will be moving on boost power alone and no accelerator, thus giving you MUCH GREATER reaction time. I was able to get the 20X chain on my first or second try this way, even though I COULD NOT get it to work at the Baseball Stadium, quarry, or the dirt track near Lone Stallion Ranch. ------------------- ![]() It's official. Dark Assassin, the way I outlined is easy enough, but are you playing on the PS3 or the 360? I am playing on the PS3, so if you are as well and you have any trouble getting it the way I said above, then I can help you get it even easier.
Just join me in a freeburn room and I will put up a race and turn off traffic. With no traffic, you can just get onto I-88, get into the opposing traffic lane, stay there, and get it pretty easily. ------------------- ![]() It's official. Have you tried using one of the slower race-boost cars? Because using the faster ones makes it more difficult. Also, another trick is to STAY OFF the accelerator once you are at full speed and just stay on the boost. In oncoming, this will allow you to keep recharging your boost while getting burnout after burnout while you keep your speed more manageable.

The way I got it was to just boost around the perimeter of the city. Starting at the wind farm, heading south west back towards the naval yard. Once you get down there you should have about 14. Then it's just a case of negotiating those few tricky little corners at the naval yard before you're free to keep going until you hit the Wild Cats stadium, then head north. I got thirty-something that way. I think I was using the X12. It's fast, but like Chiro recommends, not too fast that you can't get out of the way of bolts from the blue. =P
Stay on the wrong side of the road so you get the oncoming bonus. That'll constantly give you burnout. Drift around any corners you can on the wind farm route. One thing to remember too is that you don't always have to hold R2. As long as you're holding X to boost, then letting go of accelerate will still keep you boosting. It will also slow you down a tiny bit and give you a bit more stability. ------------------- ![]() Armed and Dangerous | |

ANother tip I just though of is if you have any of the toy cars with the race boosts, use them. They are a lot slower than their full size counterparts and much less prone to crashing.

No, you mentioned it, but I have helped many people get this in freeburn rooms, probably long before you ever played this game.
