I will get you a detailed Stunt Run walkthrough I wrote, which I believe I posted in this forum, but I am not certain. As for vehicles, I would recommend the following:
Full Size Cars: 1. Watson R-Turbo Roadster 2. Watson Burnout Roadster Toy Cars: 1. Toy P12 2. Toy P88 ------------------- ![]() It's official. I have truly become a babysitter on Neo. Redemption, I want my $7.00 an hour! | |

re: Stunt Runs |

Ali, here I found this guide I created a while back. It is more of a beginner to intermediate guide. tell me when you get this down and I will create an expert one in this same location.
Notice: This is an intro for Noobies that can net ANYONE well over 50X Multiplier in a Stunt Run. HOWEVER. experienced Stunters can use this walkthrough combined with some of my more advanced advice (to be posted later) to squeeze out WELL OVER 100X multiplier just from this run WITHOUT EVER LEAVING the train tracks!! For those of you not so advanced, though, use this EXACT run. Here are the vehicles I recommend: Toy P12 is number one since it is difficult to crash out. It is also excellent at barrel rolling. Number 2, particularly if you DO NOT have the toys, is either the Watson R-Turbo Roadster OR the Watson Burnout Roadster. Both are equally good and AWESOME for stunt runs because of their stability in barrel rolls! Tip: PRACTICE doing barrel rolls on the split floor ramps! The reason is that you have three different floor ramps that you can take from BOTH sides, which will net you at least 18X multipliers just by themselves. You also can get a 2X or 3X easily off the Read Lane Super Jump to begin this run. Here is a rudimentary map I made for this particular run: ![]() Sorry it is so crude but I suck with Photo editing. lol By far, the best starting point location for QUICK stunt run multiplier accumulation is the Read Lane. Start at the point about a quarter mile west of the Super Jump with the two barrel roll ramps, one on each side. The best way to start is on the road right at the little broken exits that lead from the train tracks to the open street. I will give you the run I do which, in my opinion is the QUICKEST way to get your multiplier up to between 30 and 40. I have done this run so many times in online Stunt Runs that I can very often get my multiplier up to around 40 before the 2 minute clock runs out! Not to mention you can keep going as high as you want, obviously, as long as you don't crash. Here is a step by step route I take. Warning: While this is the QUICKEST route I have been able to find to slam up your multiplier, it is NOT the safest. The reason is that the MAJORITY of your points and multipliers are going to come from 6 different barrel rolls from the track ramps, plus the Stunt Jump over the gas station is a little precarious and sometimes you can crash, believe it or not, if you build up TOO MUCH speed. If you want safety, then don't do all the barrel rolls later in the run I recommend. 1. Start the run and you can pretty much begin heading west the second the Stunt Run is triggered. By the time you get to the Stunt Ramp, you should get the "Go" message. Make sure to TIME your jump s that you get at least a 2X barrel roll, though I have also gotten 3X and 4X many times. This is how you will begin your run. I can usually get AT LEAST a 2X on my first or 2nd try, so I satisfy myself with that to start my run. If I get ANYTHING LESS than a 2X barrel roll, I simply let my stunt clock run out and start the run over again, driving back up the tracks and out onto the street. In this way the FIRST stunt in my run is ALWAYS at least between a 6X multiplier and a 10X (depending on if I get a double, triple, or quadruple roll). This is obviously a pretty nice start to your run. (You will get 2X for EACH X barrel roll, 1X for the Stunt Jump, and 1X for the big air) 2. After you have landed your multiple barrel roll, carefully get to the right side of the tracks. You are going to build up some speed and fly off the cliff/ramp with the billboard on it. But DO NOT simply take the jump, Instead, make sure to do a really hard Flat-Spin off of it. I recommend counter clockwise. 3. Now turn around and head back east on the tracks and go around to the opposite cliff, which also has a billboard on it. Make a right U-Turn and do the same thing off this cliff, only I recommend a Clockwise flatspin off of this ramp/cliff. I ALWAYS get between a 3X and a 4X for both this billboard and the one in number 2. (1X for the billboard, 1X for the Air or reverse air, and 1X or 2X for the flatspin, depending if I can get it to go past 360 degrees or not). So far, you SHOULD have a minimum of 12X, but could easily have 16X too. 4. Once you land this, right your car and continue in the SAME west direction this jump pointed you in. After the flatspin, you might be a little disoriented, so use th radar to make sure you are pointing east AND you are driving on the extreme left side of the tracks, which will take you into the Super Jump. Now, this is UP TO YOU, but I ALWAYS try to flatspin off of this jump, which is from one cliff to the other. The problem is that just as often, you end up crashing. Honestly, I usually just end up with a 3X anyway, so it is PROBABLY BETTER just to do the jump and take your 2X and be happy with it (1X for the Super Jump and 1X for the Air). If you HAVE to go for the flatspin too, as I habitually do, just make sure you are going really fast and I like to hit it counterclockwise 5. Now head back around and go east pretty far, PAST the old train. You will then find yourself passing a dirt road on your left as you travel east. So make a left U-Turn and go up to the metal bridge and snag the billboard at the west end of it. A word of caution here: DO NOT go too fast, because there is a little jump (not enough to get you a multiplier) and if you are going too fast, you will likely miss the billboard as your car will often shimmy to the left, Neither should you be going slow, because then you will fall through the little space between the rock surface and the top of the bridge you want to be on. Just a nice steady speed is all you need. If you are going too fast and starting to shimmy away from your right side, then turn in toward the barrier on your right and HUG IT with your car as you drive. This will prevent you from going too far left and missing the billboard. Oh and this is ONLY a measly 1X, but takes a good 20 seconds to get to, so you ma just decide to move on to the quicker multiplier targets and leave this one alone. It's up to you, but I usually snag it for the points and the 1X anyway. Oh, DO NOT bother trying to flatspin off the top of the bridge. You won't get te extra multiplier. 6. STAY to your RIGHT side and now you are going to take the LONG path on your right. This one, once you get good at it, will be almost a guaranteed 4X, BUT you have to START your counterclockwise Flatspin BEFORE you reach the top. The reason is that if you do, it will both prevent you from landing in the area to the right of the guardrail, which the game sees as a 'crash", and it will also allow you to get MORE than 360 degrees of Flatspin, giving you the 4X (1X for the billboard, 1X for the Reverse Air, and 2X for the 360+ Flatspin. 7. Now comes the treacherous parts! You will immediately see 2 floor ramps as you finish your last stunt. You are going to take the barrel rolls on EACH SIDE of the ramp. This means that you can do FOUR separate barrel rolls without getting the dreaded "Stunt Failed - Repetition" message. You are basically going to take the first ramp going east, then take it again going west, and do the same for the one about 20 yards away. ONLY GO FOR SINGLE BARREL ROLLS, unless you just happen to get really lucky and get the height and speed to land a double!! Note: I found something VERY interesting with the barrel roll ramps. If you land the barrel roll at a slow speed so that you only get 2X instead of 3X, you will VERY LIKELY be able to do that SAME barrel roll again from the SAME SIDE and not get a repetition. Why? I don't know, but I think that it has something to do with the "air" multiplier. If you just go high enough to get the barrel roll, but not high enough to get the air, I believe the game WILL NOT see it as a repetitive stunt if you then get the air and the barrel roll from the same side. Weird, but true. I usually get the 3X on each side of each barrel roll, for a total of 12X added to your previous multiplier, BUT I have gotten as many as 20X if I only got 2X's on each first roll. It USUALLY does NOT work the opposite way. Meaning, in my experience, once you get the 3X, you usually cannot go back and get the other 2X. Okay, so now you should have between 31X and about 45X depending on your flatspin success as well as how many barrel rolls you landed on your first stunt. and chances are, if you were quick, you probably still have time left on the clock in case you screw up and have to start all over again! 8. Now the Super Jump over the gas station. After the barrel roll, you need to get some speed (BUT NOT TOO MUCH) and take the jump on the LEFT side. MAKE SURE you steer your car just a little to the right as you take the jump. The reason is that if you land on the left side (even cleanly) it is an area the game doesn't want you to be in so it will count as a wreck/crash, and that's no good. ALSO, you may want to consider hammering your L2 button as you land, unless you are used to coming out of this jump cleanly. The reason is that you have a sort of stair stepping set of platforms after the jump, and you can very easily crash or turn your car over. IGNORE the flat ramp straight ahead of you because very often you will just crash on the roof ahead. If you are good at it, though, you can get yourself an extra 2X or more if you flatspin off that little wooden ramp and onto the pointed roofs, bouncing back down to the ground again. BUT IT IS TRICKY, and why risk a multiplier that is probably already over 40X for just a measly 2X? 9. Work your way down to the tracks again. You will probably have to go further east to get past all the gates, but it is quick enough. Make a U-Turn, and head back toward the other barrel Roll ramps you already jumped. Right near an old abandoned train on your left you will see a THIRD barrel before you go into the tunnel near the jump you just finished. Take the barrel roll from both sides again. This will give you an easy 6X more, well depending on how good you are at barrel rolls, anyway. lol 10. Now you should head back east and you will see another billboard at the top of a high dirt path leading you right into the intersection of Nelson Way and Uphill Drive. Drive straight up it for another 2X. I would seriously advise against a flatspin here, only because while there is limited traffic in a stunt run, there is some, and you INCREASE your chances of slamming into a car when you spin yourself into the intersection, but, again, that's your call. Anyway, you should now have between 41X and well over 50X, depending on how many flatspins you were able to get past 360, how many of the exploits on the barrel roll ramps I discovered you did, and the initial barrel roll off the ramp on Read. It should be a fairly easy thing to selectively boost-limp your way to the Airfield, the Quarry, the barrel roll jump down to Casey Pass, the Southbay Expressway (with all the billboards and jumps along the way), and wherever else you like to get your multipliers from! Make sure to look around for any jumps and billboards along the way you can snag. ALWAYS make sure your boost is full by driving into oncoming, filling up at the stations, and DRIFTING with R2 and L2 to charge it up and stop your stunt clock from timing out. I have VERY OFTEN found that when I was out of boost, that I could drift my boost meter full at much slower than top speeds. Also, don't forget to hit boost every 5 or so seconds, but JUST A TAP! You should NOT be driving for blinding speeds on Stunt Runs anyway, particularly since just a little boost tap, an e-brake turn, or some drifting will STOP your clock again. Well. sorry this got so long, but for those of you that need help, I PROMISE you that even if you completely SUCK at Stunt Runs (as I did just a couple of short weeks ago) this will help you get your scores into the tens of millions! ------------------- ![]() It's official. Actually it was 624+ Million, I believe, which was very close to 625, kind of like 624.9 something million. NOt sure why I wrote 634. Typo. What made it funny is that Gregm and I were in the room having a leisurely chat during the run.

No it isn't/ You can do "Speed runs" and get much higher, but they are not true stunt runs. If you get a speed boost car and go onto I88, if you can get up to like 500X Burnouts you will have some insane billions of points because of the way the game keeps giving you more and more points for consecutive burnouts. I don't consider that a true Sunt Run, though, because you don't need a particularly high multiplier.
