Is this turn based?

Just wondering if the fighting in this game is turn based like a lot of RPG's.

re: Is this turn based?

It has a unique roll based system that is real time. It's hard to explain.

re: Is this turn based?

Um you choose who you want to attack and then what attack you want to use. Your commands will stack up so once your character is done with, let's say, Flurry he will attack normally until you give him another command. You don't attack manually. It will not be rapid fire attacking as you take turns of some sort with the enemy.

Would you say that someone who absolutly despises turn based combat systems would enjoy this game.

re: Is this turn based?

Yes.

You might want to look at a video before you decide anything, though, since you can pause the combat and choose the commands at anytime.
