I know you can become a Jedi and you can become Sith, but can you also become a Dark Jedi?

A Sith and a Dark Jedi are the same thing. This takes place 4,000 years before Star Wars #4. Back to this time they called Dark Jedi Sith.

Sith is an orginization of former Dark Jedi. Sith have teachings, and costums.

so do Jedi....

Dark Jedi on the other hand were light Jedi who fell to teh dark side and havet chosen an affliation (non than themselves that is) they follow their own path.

I want to be a dark jedi.

But you can be light and become dark (making you a dark jedi) or you can be dark all the way through (making you a sith)

but it's about the organisations...

in this time there are many Jedi and Sith but can you be a dark force user without officially joining one of these two groups?

excuse my ignorance of Star Wars but where does it say the dark jedi belong to no organization . . . wouldn't being a dark jedi mean you are part of something . . .

You just contradicted yourself by saying all Sith are Dark Jedi and that Dark Jedi do not live by a code and Sith do. But I get what you're trying to say anyway. I suppose you can become a Dark Jedi and not live by the code of the Sith on Korriban.

After you complete the final test for the Sith Academy, when Master Uthar tries to get you to kill Yuthura Ban and she tries to get you to kill him, choose the option that you pick yourself and kill them both, the entire Sith Academy turns against you and therefore you're not part of their order, but still dark. A Dark Jedi maybe?

Dark Aeon is right. A Dark Jedi is a Jedi that has turned to the dark side, nothing more nothing less. Some of these Dark Jedi join the Sith, which is an orginization of Jedi, and have their teachings and codes.

However not every Light Jedi is a part of the Jedi Order either.

The Jedi Order and the Sith are two factions made of jedi.

yes you can use the force regardless of what you are as long as you have been to the academy. and SSG4 it's 4,000 years before episode 1 not 4.

Of course there are force users that are neither jedi nor sith....

but know this... every Jedi/Sith is a force user.. not every force user is a Jedi or Sith.....

like Mara JAde for instance she is not a (Dark) Jedi or a Sith In that time there are only 2 Sith (we all know who)
she has never been a part of the Jedi orginisation so he's not a (dark) Jedi. technicly she is nothing.... a force user....

ok ok you'v proven your point. but that would mean that it's 4000 years before episode 3. becuase that's when the sith seizeed the republic fleet.
