ok,i dont see your logic in this but, first that would take a pretty big ion charge.Second,I ALREADY EXPLAINED ANTI-CAP SHIP-KAMAKAZI MEASURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-and no,i dont belive so,there is no remote rocket propulsion sonic mine. Remote Rocket:yes Sonic Mine:yes Remote Rocket Propulsion Sonic Mine:no

ok,the executor is the biggest cap ship in the galaxy up to that point. Also, let me explain hyperspace travel to you,the are routes you must travel on for hyperspace,if you dont, you risk running into a star of the gravitational well of a planet. You cant be within sublight travel range of a ship and try to use you hyperspace engines because the said ship will detect the power up of these engines. Thus, fighters swarm all over the ship attempting to make the jump like ants on a lion.
Also,it dosent matter how much damage a ship has taken.

did you read about how IG-88 drove his ship through hypespace mannaly in Tales of the Bounty Hunters? and there are ways to keep those safeguards from fireing. And yes, the Execuor did loose control.

You could program a droid to do it.

that is unlikely,IG-88 was an indepandant droid, like many other Star Wars heroes that were droids

I meant a droid programed to kamikaze a ship.

or you could just program a ship to do it, and let it do all of the work.

True, but wouldnt and interdictor crusier or 2 solve that problem?
(if you dont know what an interdictor crusier dose, ill explain)

those ships cause a false gravity field that make the navcomputer safeguards keep the rebel ships from entering hyperspace. The programed ship would have no such safeguards, thus making the field benign, and the ship would still enter hyperspace, thus punching a hole throught the death star, which could destroy the superlaser/reactor core/hyperdive/whatever target system desired.
Unbeatable strategy! | |

Yeah Thats Actually What I Meant When I Came Up With The Kamikaze Idea A While Back. I Meant For A Capitol Ship To Go Hyperspace And Punch A Hole Right Through The Star Thus Destroying It Or At Least Disabling It...But Actually Even If You Could Plow A Capitol Ship Right Into The Death Star's Main Turret That Would Render It's Planet Destroying Capability Useless And Basically Total The Whole Thing. It Would Have To Be Timed Perfectly Though Like Right After The Death Star Took A Shot At Another Capitol Ship It Would Have To Charge Up Again Giving You Just Enough Time To Destroy It Via A Capitol Ship Aimed Perfectly At The Turret. Infiltration Would Be Another Way To Destroy It Too. Just Think How Easy It Was For Obi Wan Kenobi To Avoid Detection. Just Think Of How Things Would Have Went Down If He Was Heading For The Main Reactor With A Couple Of Seismic Charges And A Very Vivid Imagination.
