well there are like alot of circumstances like if revan was on one side and bastila the other or if wich death star the original or the rebuilt one but i guess if i had to put money on it id say it would be draw because the forge could get an extremly large fleet in a short amount of time but after or in the middle of that the death star could blow the star forge to shit but the remaining fleet should be able to finish the death star off so yeah a draw

please do not get me started on this again. belive, there are countless circumstances and scenerios to take into consideration

I would like to say from my earlier (i was the dude formally named Darth Revan like a year ago who was a guest) post that since the Star Forge can make almost anything out of thin air that it could make something just as powerful as the death star, if not, more powerful than both death stars COMBINED, and even if the death star could ever get anywhere near the Star Forge, that thing has like sensors so powerful that it would find out when the death star was coming and then make a fleet large enough to destroy it AND still have enough fighters/ cap ships left over to still defend it from a sizeable invasion force. And Stronghold i love the idea of the whole Stealth Invasion Force, best idea i have ever heard in a Star Wars forum. If some people could think like you then maybe we would be better people.

Also i am a humongeous SW fan, i can name almost anything in star wars history, but for some reason only from certain books and movies and video games. Even as we speak i'm playing KOTOR 1.

theres too many "what ifs" if you ask me...maybe we should define some boundries in this. like me, stronghold and davik kinda blew it outa proportion with all the ships and stelth stuff...all were great ideas and made the argument more exciting though, but the title WAS death star vs starforge, NOT Death Star with Empire and friends VS Star Forge and Revans cronies.

ok, then you just ansewred my question- the battle is Death Star with Imperial fleet supprot vs Star Forge....still though, too many "what ifs" like: is this the first or second DS (it makes a huge difference which) where are the stations in relation to each other and who is on the offensive?

Hey. Sorry for not posting for so long. Anyway, I think that this whole argument is useless if the Star Forge can replicate itself. Even though there is a huge time difference, generations of sith could replicate the Star Forge whenever they want to. Also, i read on a site that the plans for the Star Forge still exist somewhere in the exchange. Anyway, any thoughts?

Whoever it was that wrote that on that site, it sounds like they're making stuff up. I haven't heard anything about that in either of the two games or on Wookiepedia. I don't buy it and neither should anybody here really.

The Star Forge could repair itself autonomously as far as I can remember but as for replicating itself I think it would need a strong Force-User at the helm for that to happen and remember the Star Forge couldn't move so it couldn't be placed over a different Star unless it was transported in smaller pieces and if they tried to place it over the same Star who knows what could happen. The opposing energies both pulling on each of the Star's sides might even rip the Star apart and cause it to go Supernova.

Too many 'What Ifs' indeed. As is the case with just about every Vs. thread in existence.
