Too bad Darth Revan's robes are only used at the end game Or else I would be owning some droids and jawas

ALso going one way or the other gets you some cool abilities. Dark side has some cool force powers though.

The Biggest reason to go through on both sides is to experience the whole story that the developers put there. This means seeing how the Game changes based upon the choices you make.

Additionally, each side has different play styles. Like they said, the Dark side has better Offensive force abilities while the Light has more defensive ones (Lightning v. Valor).
Thus a Dark Jedi Consular will have more attack powers in their arsenal, while a Light Jedi Guardian/sentinel will be able to better increase their defenses.

Which side you play will depend entirely on what you want to do and what your Style is.

So true, defenses come in handy. If yuour a dark consular though you can do some light defenses and it wont drain you to much on force point sbecaus eyou have so many, trust me i know!

i always feel guilty for some reason when i go dark, it's like even though i know it's a game i feel like i just murdered a ton of people or a kid or something, but next game i'm gonna kill everyone...

i personally like being a Jedi Consular though cause you can get enough force to use force lightning and such but people still like you

The sides only really matter at the very end. If you don't use Force Powers as much and focus on lightsaber combat, go Dark Side. You can get Darth Revan's robes with a +5 strength bonus along with some other stuff.

I went for light, but I'd go for dark, much more fun and, besides, all your other jedi are light side for most of the game, so you should 'spice it up' a little.

You cannot kill random people which is kind of sad.

Killing random people is one of the things some people have asked for in the next KotOR. That will take away the whole challenge of making it to the darkside.
