am i doing somethin rong cuz after the cradits i always just get sent to the main menu, or is that normal?

It's normal. The game ends after you defeat Malak. The only thing you can do is go back to you're last save or start over.

What would be the point of continuing on anyway? The level cap in the game is a lvl 20 maximum anyways, it's not like Morrowind where you can just continue gaining levels and so on, I think it would be ridiculous if KOTOR 1 continued after Malak, Think of all the blocks used for memory.

Well there is of course the ending, where if you are light people are happy and so on whereas if you are dark, you are in front of a legion of followers who upon Bastila's orders chant "All hail Lord Revan, all hail Lord Revan" then the game fades out. Personally I thought that an awesome ending.

yeh, the light ending tho was a better storlyine, sucked indefinatly

Yeah I never finished the game as light on this one but I remember seeing my brother do it, it was quite the anti-climax, whereas the dark ending was just...kind of epic, in a way, and left me safe in the knowledge that my evilness would continue for a long time.

Little did I know that come the second game, Revan went to explore the depths of space, rather than continuing his domination. Let me down it did.

In the real world, Revan became good too.
