Hey guys, Mishtram here.

I know tons of you were around in the General Star Wars forum where we tried to get this off the ground, but were unfortunately thwarted by not having enough people ready and willing to help.

So, what better thing to do then set up a threads for forums which might need content still? I hope some of you might be interested in helping out with the Knights of the Old Republic section. It requires knowledge of the game, and such, with everything going in bulk onto the portal.

At this time, further staff members probably won't be assigned, but depending on if we need help and if someone here is doing excellent work on any of the Star Wars sections, people might be added as needed.

So, if you want to help out, just post on here, or in the Battlefront II [PS2] forum!

No, the amount of posts do not matter. For the portal, you would simply be making a series of FAQs which will eventually make their way onto a portal.

The portal will be made for all games in general first and foremost, and then on all of Star Wars second. If you want to contribute to any of these sections, just post here with what you'd be interested in working on. ^^

Cool, any sections you really want to help with? Such things like Xbox controls, or item prices, character descriptions?

ill try do character descriptions and item prices (and where to get them?). I may take a while because i just bought KOTOR2 and am currently playing through it, ill get started tonight

I'm still working on that stuff for KOTOR II, but there are thousands of items, so I'm going to put that on hold for a while, and work on character descriptions for II, unless someone else is already doing that.

The Shape probably should be contacted about that. He pretty much volunteered to do the game, but the more people on it, the more work on those one things, and the better quality for the work overall.

@ Chris_Player: I'm currently working on the prices, which I actually have to write down on a sheet from the games. Remember, everything here must be in your own words.

OK guys, I've done some heavy editing of the old stuff left over from the time that Dark blader and her team (including me) were on the project, and mass amounts of it have been removed. In short, only two member's info remains. On the good side, we still have something like 800kb of info in word documents and well over a hundred pages.

There are three sections I would like to discuss for the portal at the moment which I feel are necessary before we move on. Don't worry, I'll try not to be so long winded.

Graphics:

• One on the list, if any of you have any maps, hand drawn or otherwise which you would like to submit, please feel free to do so! The ones that Ecto5 got up look great and I've already added them to his file.
  
• If anyone has any software (IE freeware!) which will let me take more than one screenshot at once which has a good history, could you send a link to the site my way?
  
• Graphics in general are important to many forums, so if you can work together some graphics for your section or take screenshots, it all helps. If you can't no real loss, it just makes things look nice.

Procedure:

• This gave me a bit of a shit hemorrhage when I heard this, apparently we might have to deal with some restrictions as to how long as have to work on the site. In other words, the more work you do, the faster things get done and the less gets left off the portal, I guess. At the moment, this may or may not be true, but I'd like to have as much content done for the KotORs, the Battlefronts, and possibly from the Lego team as well before we move on.

Content:

• I have yet to find any plagiarism from current staff members, which rocks. Great job, guys!
  
• If you have knowledge of KotOR II or Battlefront I, please post here once you are sure you have finished what you feel is necessary for your section.
  
• Movies took a major hit from removed content. We are down to:
  
  Starwars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace Plot, Characters, Cast List, Vehicles, Music
  Star Wars Episode II Plot, Basic Information, Cast List, Music, Trailers
  Star Wars Episode III, Cast List, Music, Trailers, Basic Information
  
  So if you want to try your hand at that, power to you. Same for anyone who wants to create some indepth detail on the books.
  
  
• The general section. We've got Battlefront II almost complete, with only a few odd things (maps, walkthroughs) which need completion. I'm handling KotOR, and we've got a smattering of info in other areas. If you want to try writing up some more general info for the general star wars section, be my guest.
  
• Finally, I don't need this NOW. I don't need this anytime soon, but the sooner we have it, the sooner I can request us a dummy once the upgrade is complete and we can get a move on.
