Welcome to the first Graphics Battles thread!

A graphics battles is where people are set a task for a piece of graphic {avatar, stamp or banner} and it is judged by the winner of the last task who set that task. But since there is no previous winner, I will give the task and judge.

Rules::

It helps to comment on entries as they come through. But when posting comments, avoid such things just "great job" or "awesome". These kinds of comments don't have any real value and are nothing more than spam. Give honest critiques with something like, "I love Leia being a blonde, it is recoloured well, but the border is too thick and the banner is a bit small." Sometimes comments can come out of hand so try things like::

Good:: "Well done on the background, it fits the stamp perfectly, but I think the words are a tiny bit unreadable. Maybe change it to a blue colour instead.

Bad:: "That is horrible. I can't look at it! Remove it at once. Stop making graphics.

It's important to give honest feedback on people's work; their feelings are always very important too. If there's something you don't like about a graphic, don't be afraid to say it - but try to back it up with something positive about the piece as well.


Be honest in your judging, even when it comes to your best friends.


Try to post the battles in this format:

Type:: {banner, avatar, stamp}
Size:: {in pixels}
Theme:: {love, fantasy, whismical, macho, etc.}
Other:: {anything you'd like to add}

I've PMed some graphics artists, if any of you want to find out how to make graphics, upload them, where to get images etc. , either post it in the Graphics Requests and Galley or PM some graphics artists, depending on what program you use. I would suggest:
For help on Paint: Killer15
For help on GIMP: Mandarin or myself.

These are the more common image programs, if you have any other ones, tell me and I might be able to find somebody who uses it.

Now, for the first battle:

Type:: Banner
Size:: Neoseeker limits (can be smaller)
Theme:: Love
Other:: Can you please make your selection of a couple random? It makes the theme more interesting. (You are allowed to do another random selelction if you draw names out of a hat or such and get Elliot and Natalie).
And I will also allow you to use the character's wedding images from Shining Sun & Friends (not yet released, but you can still find them).
