i'm only familair with Zero, RE1, and RE4. i know 3 is the Nemesis and i've seen the movies so i'm guessing those like part 2 and 3? Also not familair with Code Veronica.

From what I understand RE Zero isn't going to be part of the game so the mansion from RE 1 is going to be first.

As for the movies being like RE 2 and 3, they are nothing similar except for the characters and some of the story but not much in similarity to the games.

on Wikepedia it says..

It's supposed to explain what happened to Umbrella so it could be in between the two if it actually has a time line in the story.

I'm sure this is not new information, but as an after-the-fact kind of thing the story is thus:

Chapter 1: RE0
Chapter 2: RE1
Chapter 3: RE3
Chapter 4: Original and post RE:CV but definately before RE4.

Resident Evil 2's Claire and Leon are NOT IN THE GAME... Resident Evil 2 story, while I won't say is COMPLETELY left out... there is no chapter devoted to it like the others.

Resident Evil 4 is not in the game in any way, shape or form. There... The record is set straight, although like I said probably isn't confusing after the game has come out.

Just curious. I just picked up the game, and am wondering if it makes any difference on which character I choose for a level? I know they have different counter-attacks, but I replayed the very first level with Billy and there weren't any differences that I noticed from when I played as Rebecca.

Well I think I'm close to the ending. I just finished Wesker's Dark Legacy 1 and I know that there's a Dark Legacy 2 but nothing was unlocked after I finished the first legacy. I did all the stages, why isn't it unlocked?
