i'm really sorry, i'd never fort i'd rant about how annoying this game is but i can't resist after the tension i went through waiting 4 it. wot i fort wud be so much better then tony hawks coz of it's controls, is simply the most, idiotic control scheme in the world. i've still not managed to flip into a *bleep*ing manual yet, and i'm never gonna be able to flip out. this is infact harder then skateboardin irl. trust me, i've done a little irl , and it's way easier then this. and wots the point spending this amount of time on a game learning to skateboard with your fingers when you could be doing it irl and actually achieving something worth while. games are meant to be fun, but the over realism of this game just..killed it with a knife. allll this being sed, i'm only half way through the demo, so if i start to lyk it i'll tell u, but it sure don't luk that way..the reason y i posted this is to know if anyone else has felt the same and if i'm alone, or whether they've change their minds. please tell me it'll get better

Yeah, it's rather annoying, but you'll get it eventually. The most annoying thing is having to do specific tricks, like in S.K.A.Te. which is hard because you have to flick R3 in a specific way, which is almost always wrong, that takes the piss.

I'm fairly good at the controls, except for one of the most basic of tricks. I almost always drift too far to the side when doing kickflips and end up with pop shuvits. It's not really that big of a deal, and I can do it when I need to, but if I've already done a pop shuvit in SKATE, I try not to kickflip just incase it ends up doubling the trick.
