my fav race is the chaos(FOR CHAOS) because of thier deamons and over wealing power

my other one is the space marines because of their deep strike abitly

I must say the Chaos are by far the most fun to play, the Daemon prince is just awesome.

The best I would say is Tau, not really my style, but I most say they are amazingly good.

Well I have to say it's Tau vs Necrons for me.
Necrons because of the all-round ability, free soldiers at first and the advancing-style. In the end you'll have destroyers with mass immortals and other soldiers and bring the Lord aswel and they're done for. Overall they're a bit slower but they're without doubt powerful and hard to defeat.

Tau, well, stealth suits is the first thing, and then, it's their *bleep*ing strong defence! Deploy 1 V88 Battlesuit Team and that position is undefeatable, if at that spot is a stratigic point or Relic you can put a listening post with full upgrades. Then it's their attack; OMG! Harbingers! They keep pumping out free drones! And fire squads and Crisis suits! Bring an Etherial and you'll have a supply of free troops in the battlefield, and their vehicles are too strong! Downside is, they can be rushed, and they're way vunerable to rushes.

definately Tau for me. but im biased because i play as Tau in the miniatures game

they really need to look at breaking all of the races into further factions. as in the lore all the races have different factions or groups within them that have their own benefits and drawbacks.

In these days I've become extremely experienced (Suddenly). And I've realised some things, first of all Tau can stand rushes, next thing is that this game is brilliant and extremely balacned. Although there is almost no similarity between the races, the game is still balanced. So my favourite stands as Tau now, but in second place are CHaos and space marines, and best thing are the speech these 2 have. Khorne beserkers say "BREAK THEIR BACKS." and Space marine say "For The Emperor!". The "emporer" is funny. lol

and the crappiest though is eldar, i dunno all races are good besides these.

Sorry but The Tau are just all around too good. They Can't be quick rushed in the beginning which kept happening to me when I played the SM, because they have stealth ability from the word go. They CAN have defenses if you upgrade the LP's and entrench a Broadside squad. Then there's their Vehicles, Harbingers and Gunships (I love missile Volley, or whatever it's really called). Firesquads can trump most other range units, especially if you have upgraded their weapons and lets not forget that the Vespers can Rip apart most buildings in a couple of seconds.

Yeah Tau is very strong, but they really are vunerable to rushes. And Space marines are actually totally effective against rushes becauses, their squads just don't die. While stealthsuits are expensive and weak (both in damage and health), so if the enemy is Necron and has a wraith they are worse than useless. Then they have fire warriors, well for making 1 squad you need 210 requisition! and their health is low and can be easily overrunned with Space marines. So basically they are waaaaay vunerable to rushes. But when able to get through rushes they are strong! Kayoun Command post makes them almost unstoppable.

BTW, IG is also fun to play but they are even worse in rushes with rushes, but once they get a mechanised command they start to rock:cool:. I really love basilisks, firing from my base to the enemy!

eldar, but i suck at em until bout 10 mins in

Space Marines... They can just survive anything! Preadators are key!

My favorites are:
Eldar: I can be really annoying with them.
Tau: Gotta love superior firepower, even though not being able to build turrets sucks a bit.
Although some of people here seem to think that Eldar aren't any good, you just have to use everyone's special abilities and make sure you have the right guys shooting what they are good at, they are a bit of a micromanagement force. Tau just have really good weaponary, I love harbinger drones, they can be really fun to use.

I cant really say I prefer ny race over any otehrs, its changesm usualyl tau or SM but it sometimes changes to IG or C.S.M and even the eldar in fact the only races I DONT LIKE are the necrons and the orks
