If you do which do you think is better discuss

Well it looks like noone is interested xcept me. tabletop owns, simply coz u can paint ur models and customize ur models urself. (A lizardman warrior with a wolfs head, how ownage is that!)

Yh the tabletop game is quite mint, I own a lizardmen army and ork army. I spend alot of time making my untis look awesome and you can get a real feel for your units rather than them being a pre determined colour (dont say anything about the army painter cos that doesnt have as many options). However the game is quite cool with all the buildings and turrets and they actually talk to you when they die (Best line is probably Khorne Beserkers "BREAK THEIR BACKS!" lol)

I play the tabletop games, love it, its so awesome.
Yea and painting and designing your models is the shiz.
I currently collect a Hordes of Chaos army and Black Templars.

computer game is WAY better

Really hard to compare the two considering they are on completely different formats and aim for different things.

Dawn of War is quite fast paced and rewards strategy and upgrades-on-the-fly, whereas with the tabletop game it's turn based and a lot relies on favourable dice rolls.

I don't play yet but am getting my first models pack on my birthday:)

I play Warhammer Fantasy, and I've seen 40K played at my local game store. Fantasy is the non-futuristic version of 40K(bows, spears, swords, etc). I play both DoWDC and WHFB quite a bit, and i must say, its hard to compare to each other. I play Empire in WHFB, and i love the ability to bring a different army every week. Magic in WHFB is really cool too. But the difference in money/time/effort that it takes when compared to DoWDC is huge, and i have just as much fun destroyed the enemy base using eldar, as i do tabling my opponents force in WHFB. So, i suppose i would choose DoW over the tabletop game.
