in all the vids theres about 5 million minion guys and 5 enemies before each mission do you just go ahead and select the ones you want untell you reach like a certain number like a max or do you have to pay money for them or like.. what? this game looks really easy.

No you have the ring of pacts that lets you make bonds I guess I can call it with monsters to summon. You start with a few monsters at the start of the battle and to get more you have to take over one of the summoning gates. You cant just summon a endless amount of monsters each one costs a certain amount of stuff I forget what it is called the stronger the monster the more it costs. It is easy to start but it gets harder as you get threw the game. Hope this helped

how many of these gates are in the game? I dont want to just get one and just get a HUGE army and just kill my enemies in 5 seconds. Is this game like HoM where you click the spot on the map and you go there and start a new mission? if it is, then how do you get all your espers from the closest gate to where you are, or is there one every mission? Is their a limit in espers?

There are gates in each level. At the start of a level you start out with only a small army. Then you have to take over other gates that the enemy has. You can only summon a certain number of espers. When the ones you have die you can make more. you use this ring thing to make different pacts with espers the stronger the monster the lower number of them you can summon in a fight.

you use those circle things that say summon,its called the ring of pacts,they have a lot of summons from the previous games.

aka:shiva,ifrit,diablos,leviathan,siren,lamia,goblin,chocobo,cactacur,tonbery,these archer dogs all kinds of summons!
