Should I get this game? Also, how big is the world map compared to other games like Pokemon Diamond or Super Mario 64 ds? How long is the story mode and how long can this game keep u busy for without getting tired of it?

Well,I'll try to help you out here:Yes,You should get this game. I really like the story line,and the wide range of charachters.I haven't won the game yet,but so far i've seen two maps. They each have a few continents. Umm,story mode? This game is pretty fun,but the battle system gets anoying when you are stuck on the same part for a while. But,the mini~game type things are fun,and add sort of clues to the storyline.

If you've played Golden Sun, it's somewhat along those lines. I don't have this game and I'm new to the whole FF series, but I've liked it from what I've played

Yes,it is kind of like Golden Sun, except you have espers in FF and in GS you have Djinni.

Yeah, I recommend playing Final Fantasy XII as well so you understand the basis of Revenant Wings. If you don't play it, then reading on the characters and storyline should be fine as well.
