I've made it to the final battle but the most I can ever do is destroy one of the arms. All of those other monsters keep getting in the way. What should I do?

Summon heaps of flying type espers, including the rank 3 Mateus to attack the King Wraiths and the arm with the scepter. When that arm is dead attack the face and keep using Kytes to cast powerful magical attacks on the head. Beware, when the head is half-dead he will summon Bahamut to attack you and believe me he is FREAKIN' strong. Use Mateus to distract Bahamut and some White Hares to heal Mateus while the rest attack.

When I completed it my characters were around level 50-55.

I won, by using bahamut. Destroy the two arms by sending all your people towards one while summoning espers all the time. Once that is complete, send all your people back to one of the gates, then send bahamut up to the chest and use mega flare and attack it until it dies. Keep doing this, until you win
