Had a quick look and didn't see this posted here yet. I found this trailer for revenant wings on gametrailers, the graphics actually look very impressive for a ds game.

Yeah I couldn't let you hog all the threads now could I. Well it's deffinitely not from ffxii and I saw some screenshots of revenant wings which were scenes from that trailer but it does look awefully good for a ds game.

For the DS the graphics are great (like the FMV's of the remake of FF III). They seem to be doing a great job with the DS FF games.

Yeah I mean at first I thought I had the wrong game didn't think the ds could do graphics like that even if they are cut scene graphics.

Well, when i saw the trailer for FF III, i was like "are they sure this is on the DS?" Can't wait to get my hands on both of the FF DS games. November till III, don't know when RW comes out.

I'm not sure exactly but it must be able to hold a fair lot games like metroid prime hunters looks very good graphically and still have a lot to them. It's actually quite amazing how much such a small catridge can hold.

Ack, only 1gig on the DS cards. That's only a little more than the PS1 discs.

I had to leave for work or i would have gotten more into that. You would think that they could hold more on them considering they do make 4gig SD cards and other things such as that, but this is a game disc, so it may be a little bit different. Never really messed are with those. But Krunal is right, given the size of the screen of the DS is a big factor. The resolution doesn't have to be as big, they don't have to make it to fit on a TV screen like the consol games. The cutscenes may be shorter, but still, the could fit a farily decent sized game on it. The PS1 FF's were long enough and had enough content on them, and so should these games. Of coarse the graphics will won't be as good, but i would gladly sacrifice graphics for decent gameplay and and a longer story. I'm tired and porbably ramnbling mindlessly, so i'll read this tomorrow and probably change something. Oh well.

Yeah the other thing is those trailer graphics are cut scene type ones I imagine the actual ingame graphics will be different. The one thing I do like about the ds using cartridges is no loading times, some psp games do have big loads and something that looks as good as revevnant wings would have quite a lot of them I imagine.

Just saw the trailer and.... wow.... The graphics are crazy! Wonder what the story is going to be like and I don't reconize that girl in the trailer. Wonder who she is.
