Hellooooo....?

Hi, I'm InuYashaFan123 (or IYF or Reg). I was wondering if anyone else has this game, and if they do, what they think about it.

For instance:
Who's your favorite character?
Have you played the free online version? (Albatross 18 Season 2)
Which courses/holes do you think are the toughest?
Swing controls- the next big step in golf games?

Though I've never played this game or the online one (called Pangya overseas), I'm "quite" familiar with its characters and this game (and its upcoming sequel) look pretty good.

My fave character is Arin btw, she's TOO cute.

My favorite characters are Kooh and Kaz. Kooh simply because she's powerful, and Kaz just because I like to see him swing his swords around.

Oh... and there's stuff here concerning an Albatross 18 Season 3 open beta.
It's becoming more and more like the Wii version... but with online play! I hope Tecmo fixes that for the next Super Swing so that I can play Wi-Fi. That would rock

I'm not sure, but I think that there's gonna be online play in the sequel, but I don't think so. Also, I think no one comes here 'cause they don't know what the hell Pangya/Albatross 18 is.

Yeah, the sequel looks to be great, actually. I heard they're replacing the story mode. I could never get past Kaz's story anyway

Hopefully the second game will reach a wider number of Neo members. Hopefully.

Oh. Well, this game seems good. It smacks of Hot Shots Golf but with [a more] realistic control scheme.
I've only had the game a short while, & I downloaded a save to unlock the characters (apparently unlocking them is ultra laborious by all accounts), so I haven't had that much time with it. But if the physics are accurate then this game looks a winner.

What baffled me though were the generally mediocre reviews it got. Most of which were based on the apparent anomalous fact of the cutesy design coupled with true to life play physics. Now if that's not the most idiotic reason to criticize a game I don't know what is!
I actually brought the game for that very reason! I love those anime character deigns. : P

Exactly! What is so wrong with being a little bit... off-beat? This game is better than most people give it credit for.

I hate using real-life golfers too. They look so boring in their white polo shorts and slacks. Motorcycle helmets and frilly dresses ftw

dammit why is this game so hard to beat

I got this, and every other I game I ever wanted that was avaliable (except for Metroid Prime 1 & 2 ) for Christmas! I only did the training mode and fiddled around with the options a bit, but the controls are awesome!
