So did anyone else besides me pretty much never use any of them? I thought that most of them were pretty cool, and a few of them pretty useful, but there just was no need to really use any of them (except for the two leech bombs for when you have low health). I went through the entire game, never having used Death Springs, Groovitron (once or twice), Transmorpher, Visi-Copter, Mr.Zurkon, and Confuzzler Gas (once or twice). So other than the Leech Bombs, I never used any of the rest of the Devices.

Are you kidding? Mr. Zurkon is awesome. I usually get him out then throw down a Toxic Swarmer or two and go to townwith my favorite weapon at the moment. You lay down that pattern and nothing can stop you.

Oh and the second time I took on Tacyon I used the golden Groovitron like it was candy(infinite ammo). It is funny because he will scream out lines like "I will destroy you, right after this song" and "Oh great, now I have this song stuck in my head." And I would stand there blasting away with my Ryno IV, Mr. Zurkon, and Toxic Swarmers.

The only thing I think I didn't use was the leech bombs and the confuzzler gas.

Wow, I used them many times. Not really because of necessity, but just for fun. I like to toy with the enemies Lol and draw out the battle instead of whipping out the RYNO IV and laying waste to them in seconds/milliseconds. Once I get unlimited Groovitrons, I'm going to make every single enemy I meet, and every character I meet, dance between shots Lol

I have Mr. Zurkon and I can't wait untill I get the transmorpher and the visa copter. Those will probably be my favorite ones.

Hahah, I did not kow he said that. thats pretty cool.

Yeah I only used any of them a few times, there disigned for specific puposes that never really come up. The confuzzler gas is for when youhave a lot of strong enemies after you and the visi-copter is for when you don't want to get hit so the real time I used it was to take out a turret at zordoom.

To get more enjoyment out of the Combat Devices, you just go through the game, and at times, tell yourself, "Hey, I could use *Combat Device* here!!!"

Just add some strategy.

I found the visa copter good to take out a group of enemies that are on a different platform.

I used the groovitron a ton, and the others just for Skill Points, but thats it.

I don't know how people aren't bothered to use all the combat devices; They look so fun!!!

People, if you're fortunate enough to have this game you should get as much enjoyment as humanly possible from it!!!

I'm sure I will have to use them more in Challenge Mode, since things are much harder, but I did not use them whatsoever in the first run through the game. Enemies take my HP from me so fast these days.

I just use them in intense situations where I have less than 10 nanotech
like I'll throw a Grovetron to buy time to shoot and raise my nanotech, Leech Bombs for the clear reasons, and I'll throw out a Mr. Zurkon if I need to finish somethin quickly or I need extra help.
the rest is pretty useless, the gas is used rarely for me only if I got a hoard of enemies at me and I'll just have them kill each other
and I take out the Visi-Copter once in a while to take down some punks in my way of nanotech

The only thing I hardly use is the Visicopter. I can't control it that well, so . . .

But it looks so kool! I can't believe it wouldn't be useful; It's a better version of The Visibomb and I thought that was the best weapon in R&C1...

The problem with teh visicopter is it isn't powerful enough for the few times you really want to use it. The absolute best use I have found for it is on the pirate turrets. But then again once you get the RYNO 4 EVER every weapon is pretty much useless. Funny thing if you read the RYNO 4 EVER's description it even says its very existence would completely unbalance gameplay.
