What would you want added from the Jak series added to ratchet and clank.

I really would like to see the needle lazer, eco and Peace Maker. If you don't know what these are go search Jak 3 Guide on google and the first thing it will show is a great guide from ign. There is also green, yellow, blue and red eco. Search Jak and daxter and go down until you find Jak and daxter precursor legacy and go to any of the faqs.

I also wanted a better story like Jak 3 did.

This game wasnt made by the smame people as Jak and daxter.
They cant just take things from another game company.

Well, not to the extent of taking the main object of the game.
Eco is the basis of the entire series, it would be like just randomly placing Clank or Quark into a Jak & Daxter game.

I didn't mean it that way. For example what I meant by eco is its abilities not its name and look. In Ratchet something that would represent eco would be differnet kinds of nanotech that have the abilities of those eco

Why change a formulae that works? Ratchet doesn't need any special abilities. If anything they should come up with some new mods for Clank. He has had the Heli-pack, Jet-pack, and Hydro-pack since R&C1.

The glider and geo-laser were a start. But they were just so level specific that they didn't seem as functional as the first three. He needs something as versitile as the Heli-pack. Maybe bring back the Giant Clank mod a bit more often. Some more Zoni abilities would be interesting too. Maybe something similar to the robots Clank could use in R&C 2.

Certainly not ripped off from Jak. The last thing we want is to have Insomniac release an R&C game that is like a Jak clone and for Naughty Dog put out a Jak game that is Ratchet Clone. I like the fact that the two series are distinct and unique to one another.

I prefer the heli-pack over the jet-pack personally but I know what you mean. You think that level was bad though imagine going back to R&C1 AFTER beating ToD and UYA. You play through the first 3-4 levels without even the Heli-pack. A lot of the gadgets that are automatically built in in every game after that had to be found bought or added in the first one.

Of course R&C2 tries to repeat that by having Ratchet play without Clank for the first few levels. And DL you play the entire game without Clank. But then I played DL before any of the other games so I didn't know any better back then. Plus platforming wasn't a big part of that game. Completely different level construction.

In my opinion I think that this game would be even better if they added some strategy to the game. It still feels arcady where you kill the bad guys and collect the coins

It has some strategy in it, like on some harder enemies, you might shoot a mag-net at 'em, chuck a toxic swarmer, then slice 'em up with a shredder blade, or you might just blast 'em with a judicator and alpha cannon. So it is kinda strategy based.

And the dance Clank did near the end of R&C2.

That was on Damosel, or something along the lines of that.
When you completed the grind rail section and got another part of that thing that.. lets you control robots.
