Hi i just bought this game from japan and i need help. Since i can't play it because i have an english ps2 i can't play it. I have swap magic and i just the card thingy but my ps2 got jammed and its broken now. Now i got a slim ps2 and im asking can i use my swap magic on my slim ps2? Do i have to use the card thingy? Also can u play japanese ps2 games on a ps3?

Have you tried testing it yet? From what I've seen on Youtube, Swap Magic works on the slim PS2.

As for the PS3, well, there's already a thread for it. And no one is answering my question.

And what is this "card thingy" you're referring to? I 'm pretty certain it's a way to play Japanese games, but what is it?

thanks nevermind about the card thingy i found a new way. U cant use the card thiny on slim ps2s so u have to install parts i already no i just gotta buy them anyways can i play japanese games using the magic sawp 3 CODER?

its this sort of card thingy u get on the internet and u use it to open the disc tray without pressing the button. Anyways if u want more informtaion goto modchip.ca they got all the information there.
