Although this is most likely the last year for the PS2, unless Sony does something amazing, I think that it has done the best of any console. Some of the best games, good graphics in some of them, all around good console. And, it's lasted the longest of any console so far, unless you count, like, the older, much older systems such as the NES. I personally don't like the PS3, and am sad to see the PS2 go.

This is DEFINITELY not the last year for the PS2, we will see many more games being released. It will probably die down in a year and a halfs time, but even then, games will come till probably 2009/2010. That's how the PSX was (games out for quite a while).
As for what you said myeyespy, you do realise that he said that KH3 will NOT be the next KH, which means that the next KH game will be on a portable device, and THEN they shall release KH3 which this topic is talking about, and KH3 is most likely to be on the PS3. Since the KH3 discussion thread has been floated in the KH2 forum, I'm highly considering moving discussion to that forum and closing this thread, but before I do that, I want to know if youd really prefer to stay in this forum and out of the KH2 forum or not. -------------------  | |

The next kingdom hearts game will be for the ps3. It will will be rated teen. Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas are not in it. The main characters are Terra, Aqua and Ven. This is not a sequel its a new kingdom hearts series that will take place in the past.

Only those that are still backwards minded. If you think it should be on the PS2 just because KH1 and KH2 were on the PS2, then that in my opinion is stupid. Are you saying that even in say 3-4 years down the line when KH4 is made, you'd want that on the PS2 just so you can play it even if you don't have a PS3? And with PS3 no longer being backwards compatible, there's even more reason to make it for the PS3 as opposed to the PS2.
You do realise that KH3 will be released in 2009/2010 at the earliest, which means the price of PS3 will be quite low, enough for you to be able to afford one Are you also pissed that FFXIII is on the PS3? MGS4 for the PS3? Or even GTA4 for the PS3?  ------------------- | |

What I'm a little disappointed with is the KH: Coded game, which takes place AFTER Kingdom Hearts 2. It seems likely that Coded will only be for Japan release - so how are we gonna get that game? =/
I hope it will only involve minimal story expansion. I'm fine with Birth by Sleep and 365/2 Days. KH3 can go on the PS3 - I'll be getting one soon enough. What Krunal says is true, we have to move forward sometime. ------------------- | |

I heard there was 4 different games coming out. Kingdom hearts coded, Kingdom hearts 358/2 days, Kingdom hearts birth by sleep, and Kingdom hearts 3. some r on the ds, psp, ps3, and i saw one on the wii. Box art.

birth by sleep=psp its about Terra aqua and ven who fight xehenort apparently and mickey is there its 10 years before KH1 so sora is 4 also this is most likely to come out in America also i just realized this should be around the time kairi washed up on the island! maybe we will see something about that.
re:KH:CoM = a remake of chain of memories a KH game that was originally for the gba for ps2 this might come out in America not sure but i think there is another thread about them casting American voice actors for the 5 organization members KH coded= a KH game for the mobile phone or maybe just the i-phone i think KH 358/2= a KH game for the D.S where you def. play as the organization members YES! screenshots showed the player as roxas and axel saix and i xaldin i think were in the party so with the ds wi fi or whatever it uses it might be 4 players KH3= this game is not confirmed by nomura but its probly will be cuz sqeenix has to much on there plate also it def. will be for ps3 i dont care if your mad like krunal said youll have to move on also the ps2 will have "died" by then | |
