Between the three choice who did you pick.

Well platypunk can be scout like earlier. I have seen the other two except Dracky to scout. So I think I did the right choice for now.

Actually all of the 3 starters can be scouted on the first island. I went with the Mole lol. Probably made the wrong choice since it's got a really low speed... Now it's sitting in the farm waiting to get synthesized while I'm raising some females XD.

I don't understand about the syntherized. When can you syntherized and how you know the monster is female and all that stuff.

I have picked Dracky, because it was the original bird monster family in the DWM version and I love bird family.

You can start synth-ing when your monsters are level 10+. Females have "negative" sign in their status. Males are "positive". There are also some monsters that are "hermaphrodite" that have Plus+Minus sign. These can act as either female or male when synthesizing.
And there's no bird family in the game. Dracky's got pushed into the evil family  .------------------- | |

I picked Plattypunk. His stats were pretty good and I knew I could get the other two on the first island(Saw it on gameplay vids) so I picked him.
Now he's rotting away waiting to be synthesized like all the rest. | |

If I were to pick out of those three I'd pick Dracky. Its defense may be low but its Int and Speed help it along quite nicely. Plus it learns Antidote (or it used to)

Picking the Mole will help you scout monsters. It's got Psycho trait that allows it to Psych Up (up to 50 - 3 psych ups). Extremely useful when scouting

i picked dracky.
it really doesnt matter at all, I've scouted all 3 of them by now. Just go with whichever one looks the coolest.  -------------------  | |

Dracky... I dunno why; it just seemed like he was an obvious starting monster. He grows fast and with Zam early on it made Infant Isle and Xeroph Island easy.
