Anyone know how to disable the blood spewing out of defeated enemies? I just bought the game yesterday and haven't played it yet, but I'm not sure there's a way to change the blood into coins like in the JPN version. And my parents are always nagging me about violence and bood and gore, so I'd like to at least shut them up while I'm playing NMH.

that should be the least of your worries about this game....there are allot of other things (Language, Gestures, SEX) that should make your parents really hate this game.

And europe's stuck with pixels and coins... no complaints here (it's quirky): unless the blood was killer7 sweet spot style in which case I'm a little sad.

edit: awww, that makes Travis's quest o killing a lot darker, bizarre.

I wish there was a way to shut off the blood - it's annoying to have an enemy explode next to you and keep you from seeing what you're trying to kill.

More problematic is that you can't see the enemies you just downed with the finisher that ripped some dude's head off, and wind up comboing the air above the prone body of someone you've yet to kill.

Just bought my wii this weekend and this game with it, i had no idea the my european version had blood censored. Didn't even noticed the lack of, i though the coins were normal in order to give the game that 80's arcade games look.

The lack of blood seems not bad bearing in mind your commentes regarding not being able to see the other foes since the one you just finished is painting the screen red...but i would still like to enable the blood...

From this evenings' experience: it would have been nice for something other than nothing to have happened when "military lady with metal leg" tucked into a grenade.

Travis' senseless murderous fight to the top almost feels acceptable with coins, with blood and his attitude I dunno... hmm.
