Shift five-Im not sure really what it is. I can't see the stock very well, But The effects are very cool and even if it is pretty hard to make out, I like what you did. I personaly wouldn't have chosen those colors but thats just me. Also, your cologne one is cool too. I like it and it looks nice.

Stigmatised - A pleasent change of your monotonous, super-blended banners. I love the colors in the background, and the effects that seem to spray out, away from George. Muy cute.

Blaziken_ninja - 1st.

stock

STIG-Never seen a curiouse george banner. Nice to see something different. But I don't like the BG effects much. You could have made it simpler. They don't seem to go with the stock much.

Blaziken_ninja-First one.

Heavens Grudge-While it looks good and has some nice effects and you did a good job with the gradient mapping, its not gonna win over then mine

Salocin-You should have completely cropped out his face instead of the way you did it.

how would i achieve this? i suck at cropping on gimp 2.4, and i completly suck with paths. The way i did it was using the eraser tool.

Any other comments?

Don't Use Those Brushes Anymore.
Go To Planetrenders, If You haven't used Renders From There Yet.

Stig - Ooo, I Love The Colors used In Your Stigg, Blended Nicely.
Love It.

re: Sample Graphics - Gaussian Blurbs

Thanks for the comments guys.

Blaziken-The first one is better. I don't like the random white lines in the corner of the first one, and the text is hard to notice. I don't like the background in the second, not as well done as the first.

Heavens Grudge-I don't like the giant circular clipping mask, it just looks like its there to fill the space. The background isn't much and the lightsource just seems to be there. You've done far better.

Salocin-Practise with the paths tool, its difficult at first but once you get used to it its a lot more useful. The background is the same old vector brushes we've seen whored over the past few months by certain members...

New sig.

i'll try the paths tool more, but i hate using it, and i understand the vector brush thing

i only used vector twice and that stock is from planetrenders
stock
I used the eraser tool and the circle vector brush to achieve the circle for his face, then i brushed over his face(mistake)

here is a semirevised v2(didn't see any of this before i did it so:

same stock

re: Sample Graphics - Gaussian Blurbs

Stig: It's great. The effects are beautifully but I have one question. Did you do the blood on the face or did the stock come with it? Also the text is a bit hard to read.

Borritoe: It's ok but nothing really catches the eye because like you said it is pretty plain. Also you need a boarder.

v.2:

Just a bunch of filters, grunge brushes, and duplicate stocks.

re: Sample Graphics - Gaussian Blurbs

Salocin: I really don't like how Ichigo's face appears out of nowhere, and how that circle hides a part of the border.
Borritoe: The background seems to call my attention more than the stock, the text isn't nice (don't worry, my fonts always suck too), and the guy is kinda... pixelated.
The Pursuit: I like it, you always add good effects.

My turn:

C&C?

Edit 1: Just noticed, I have to fix that blending a bit.
