G&A Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Graphics & Animation forum! Please take some time and look through these rules, as they will help to make this an enjoyable environment for everyone. Remember that some threads have their own set of guidelines which must be followed within that thread, so make sure to read those carefully as well.

SITEWIDE RULES
  • Please follow all of Neoseeker's sitewide rules. These must be followed within G&A and every other forum on this site.
SPAMMING, FLAMING, AND POSTING ETIQUETTE
  • Please stay on the thread topic. The General Discussion thread is for anything non-graphics related, although please keep in mind that it is not a place to spam.
  • Avoid double-posting. If you have to add to a previous post, use the Edit feature.
  • Before creating a new thread, make sure that one of the same topic does not already exist. A handy tool for this is the Archives thread.
  • While we may be more tolerant than other forums, flaming is still not allowed. There is a difference between being blunt and attacking someone. A good rule to live by is that if you are unsure whether something is appropriate, then it is probably not.
  • We like to have fun here, so please try to see the humor in things before immediately taking offense.
THE G&A CULTURE
  • G&A is a graphics forum, not a discussion forum. We encourage members to be active in sharing art and participating in our many forum activities. Please do not come here solely to use our General Discussions thread.
  • When you post graphics in the Samples thread, you are opening it up to evaluation. Please do not take offense to criticism, as it is meant to help you improve. Similarly, when posting critiques, keep in mind that many people are beginners and still learning.
  • While we treat every new member with respect, the best way to earn a place in G&A is to be an active and valuable member of the forum. Whether it's helping out in the Requests system, participating in events, or building a Portfolio, there are many ways to become part of the G&A community.
THEFT AND PIRACY
  • Anyone found claiming others' work as their own, whether within Neoseeker or elsewhere, will receive a lifetime ban from the Graphics and Animation forum and the sub-forums.
PROBLEMS? QUESTIONS? COMMENTS?
  • If you see anyone in violation of this code, or any of Neoseeker's sitewide rules, please let us know using the Report function.

Additionally, feel free to contact any of the moderating team with any further questions, comments, or suggestions.
