	In each of the games in the halo trilogy, master chief was refered to as John at some point in the game. Now, in halo wars, which takes place before the halo trilogy, there is a sergeant named John Forge at the time when spartans can come in large quantities. Is he possibly a master chief without his helmet on?

	no...Spartans are trained from childhood to be Spartans and Spartans ONLY. if he was the Chief, why would he be running around in light recon armor when he could be wearing Spartan armor? plus, that would make the Chief like 50 or 60 by the time Halo 1 starts. thirdly, Spoiler: Forge apparently dies at the end of HW. -------------------

	No he didn't, he spent most of his child and teenage years training to be the galaxys most ruthless and efficent killer, along with 75 other kids, most of them died or became horribly disfigured when the bio-augmentation process happened and then only 35 survived, with some dying in between the years of Halo Wars and Halo 1, and you only spend time in cryo-sleep when your on a long trip in spacw -------------------

I'm not sure that you age when in cryogenic sleep... do you? If so he wouldn't really be 50 or 60. Well, he would... but he'd have the body of the same fit soldier he went into the cryo tube as. 	MC dosnt really speak, so has no personality honestly. Cortana and the Arbiter speak much more, so they have time for their personalities to shine. And for Wars, the cutscenes are too short and few to show any real personality or character development. Im an RPG guy, so Im used to great, developed characters.
