Every time I play this game offline it freezes up when I try to go to the main menu. It never does this when i'm online though. Anyone else having this problem?

I have never had any freezing problems or even glitches with this game.

I don't get any offline freezing whatsoever when I play Doom. The only thing I could suggest is removing the game from your hard-drive and then re-downloading it.

Same here. When I'm offline it freezes when exiting to the main menu.

An other thing, does it hurt your box when forced a shutdown due to a freeze? I bet it ain't good for the hardware.

Is your 360 signed in to XBL when playing?
By Online it's not the multi-player part of the game that's referred to, it's weather you have the 360 connected to the Internet or not. Even if you only play single-player campaigns.
