I paid $80 for this game and it is fun at first. But after you log about 2 hours of game play you stop wanting to make *bleep* vehicles. I have no idea what you are supposed to do.
Explain please?

The whole point of the game is to build strange and awesome vehicles to complete the tasks given to you. I have no idea what else I can explain. Maybe this isn't the game for you?

Also you can pretty much beat the game without having to create more than 4 vehicles which is what I did. Just mostly buy Humba's Planes and parts and try to get in to the habit of making vehicles.

How'd you pay $80 for this game? It's $40 at most stores here in the US.

Anyway, it's a pretty awesome game and there's a ton of options for making cool vehicles.

I am in Canada and it's about $75 with tax. I doubt it's only $40 either. unless thats with out tax.

Please, I'm a huge Banjo fan, and I think the game is just alright.

It's so far away from what I wanted. I wanted the Bear and Bird to be back. To use Kazooie's skills in crazy ways, take out enemies, and do what I did in the first two. The dialogue and atmosphere are great, but it's just so different that it's not what I wanted.

And the vehicle design is fun, but it sort of drags on since vehicles are all you ever deal with.

True that but it's a new take on the Banjo series like Banjo-Pilot. Hopefully though Rare can come up with a true Banjo-Tooie sequel for the X-Box 360 later on, to help meet hardcore fans desires. I'm not trying to talk shit about Nuts & Bolts, it is a fantastic game but it would have probably been better if it was an entirely new game instead of a Banjo game.

So basically this game is nothing like the first two?

For the most part it's not like the first 2 at all. Rare feels like the old platformer games are outdated and will not sell in today's market.
