There are town-only abilities, but those are ONLY abilities that would be too powerful for scum to have. Like PGO. If mafia killed you every time you targeted them, the game would be damn near impossible to win. Nexus is another, I've learned. The ability to reflect onto others is a bit excessive for mafia. Changing votes? Screwing around with votes can be town, scum, indy, however you want.

Then again, you'd have to have played mafia outside of here to know that, so I guess I can understand why that lie worked.

I lol'd when I realized how Hoo was playing it off. It seemed absolutely nothing like a multivote at all, considering. He would either have to give someone an extra vote via night phase, or he'd have to have two votes himself. And considering how some of the day phases played out, it always took someone else besides him voting before shit was actually lynched.

Not to mention Oscuro had known his ability for a while. It just seemed funny, in the long run.

Gotta give props to Hoo though. He was worried all the same, but he got shit done.

Hey, can I sign up for another round? Although it might me a little hard playing since I'm confined to playing on my Wii. so amy roleclaims I have to do will take a while, so don't expect anything too quickly.

The multivoter I'm used to is an indy. Well, sort of. The role changes alignment every 2 days, so it's basically the role that decides which side wins if it survives to late game.

Either way, it was silly for everyone to follow along.

A group of people awoke to find themselves in the Scramble Crossing, which was curiously devoid of any life other than the fifteen confused souls now left to mill about its empty crosswalk, unable to leave on account of the invisible walls blocking every exit. The sky above them was pale purple color; the clouds, a sickly yellow. The Q-Floor moniter that dominated their view displayed only static.

Suddenly, without anyone knowing how he got there or how long he had been, there was a man in a grey suede suit standing in the middle of the Scramble, who they all seemed to become aware of almost simultaneously.

“Greetings, Players,” he said, the dark sunglasses he wore glinting ominously. “And welcome... to The Reapers’ Game.”

Many of the people around him immediately began to loudly raise questions or objections, but he silenced them all by simply raising his hand – somehow, the Players knew they didn’t want to cross him.

“To put it simply,” he began. “You are all dead. However, you have been given the opportunity to earn a second chance at life. Amongst you now are a group of Reapers – think of them as your opponents, for that is what they are. If you wish to get your lives back all you need to do is find the Reapers...“ a devious smile spread across his face. “...And Erase them.”

“Each day,” he continued. “I will allow you to vote on who you think is a Reaper. At the end of a day, whoever has the most votes will be Erased. During the nights that follow, you all may do as you please – but don’t be surprised if some of your number fail to return the next morning. If you fail to eliminate all my Reapers before they eliminate you, well... all you’ll earn then is a one-way ticket to oblivion.”

The man raised his arm into the air and, with a snap of his fingers, he disappeared. The sky immediately turned a pristine blue, and the clouds became untainted white – but nothing could serve to liven the somber mood that had descended on the Scramble Crossing, still eerily empty, save for the fifteen individuals who were trapped inside. All the while, the Q-Floor monitor above their heads had begun to count down the time they had left to reach a decision – the time they had to kill.

It is now Day Phase 1. You have until 5 AM GMT on the 8th of July to cast your votes.
