I just purchased the game recently..
the only bad thing is the amount of time that the game takes to update... considering there are quite a few patches and upgrades for the program to install since the game's release. It took me two hours to install and configure my profile, and then an estimated further three hours for the game to update... o.0; ------------------- | |

I am playing on the Pandemonium Server and there is never a shortage of players. It's pretty populated.

Simultaneously, with the release of Wings of the Goddess they are having a Return to Vana'Diel campaign where old players can come back and get their old characters back. =]

The Pandemonium server is the one on which I play, and it is pretty active too, without being overly so to the point of getting lag.
